Situated on the seafront on Westbourne terrace. A traditional restaurant serving delicious British food. a 7 days a week carvery along with specials, meat and fish dishes, or maybe just a light bite. Vegetarian options are also available. We enjoyed freshly caught fish and chips.

just minutes off the A39 and a stones throw away from Abbotsham Cliffs, we couldn’t be in a better location.
Set within its own picturesque walled gardens, The Thatched Inn really is a fine example of how a country Inn should be. seasonally produced food and homemade dishes, together with an ever changing specials board, from a light snack to a traditional 3 course meal, with prices to suit all budgets.
As well as our 3 large dining rooms. They also have a lovely large enclosed beer garden.
The boathouse/ Instow
Overlooking the wide golden sands of Instow- and boasting uninterrupted views over to the picture postcard village of Appledore. Enjoy your food whilst looking out onto the Atlantic. The Boathouse is a beach bar and restaurant that’s guaranteed to delight.

The Hoops Inn has a first-class reputation for its food using only fresh, local seasonal produce. Guests can dine in the candlelit restaurant, the relaxed bars or, on warmer days, outdoors in the covered courtyard or the attractive gardens. A great selection of dishes on offer.

The 13th Century thatched Inn is set amongst the beautiful Devon countryside, with Exmoor on one side, Dartmoor the other and the lovely sandy beaches of the North Devon coast within a few minutes drive. The ideal location for a perfect traditional free house.
They specialise in home cooked food and offer a range of specials board every lunchtime and evening, including gluten free, vegan and can accommodate special dietary requirements on request.
The pig on the hill
We ate here on a Sunday and had the most delicious roast, limited menu on the Sunday but otherwise a lovely range of locally sourced meals on offer.
