Discovering Duke’s Dubai

Excited for our first trip to Dubai and after weeks of looking through hotel sites and reviews, I found a fabulous deal on Booking.com.

Dukes Dubai is the newly opened sister hotel of Duke’s London (Mayfair), Situated on The Palm Jumeirah next to the Fairmont.

The hotel

I was blown away as we stepped inside the lobby stunning contemporary chic tasteful British grandeur and a magnificent Swarovski chandelier greeted us.

the Dukes Dubai check in was pleasant and quick we were offered a cool drink and fresh towels which is great after a long flight, and Our luggage was taken up to the room.

The room accommodation

We had booked a deluxe suite on the 14 th floor next to there incredible indoor pool. The room exceeded all our expectations our suite had a living room which can be a 2 nd bedroom, main bedroom 2 x bathrooms with high end amenities, tv, coffee and tea making facilities and complimentary wi-fi.

this beautiful room had something spectacular to offer, a huge balcony overlooking the impressive views of the Dubai skyline.

The hotels huge selling point was the amazing infinity pool overlooking the private beach , there is a lazy river if you want to sit back and relax whilst staying cool or there are plenty of sun beds available around the outside of the pool.

Dining

The Dukes Dubai hotel offers 3 restaurants,

GBR- which is where they served there daily buffet breakfast which was brilliant, so much on offer.

I opted for omelette most mornings from the fresh egg station but there was a huge choice from pancakes, full English and fresh fruits too cereal and selection of fresh juices.

WEST 14- this cute canopy covered poolside restaurant has a very limited menu.

We ate there most days we were by the pool, they served delicious steaks and salads washed down with some cocktails.

TIP- they do charge for table water about £10 so we always bought our complimentary room water poolside and asked for a bucket of ice which they were fine with.

KYBER- this was our favourite restaurant in the hotel situated on the top floor with breathtaking views over Dubai marina, the food was amazing we had a selection of traditional Indian cuisine.

The staff were so helpful and help with food suggestions and made the whole of our dining experience a pleasant one.
